Stay in one of our handmade cabins for a slowed down, quiet break, immersed in nature. Spend your evenings next to the camp-fire or soaking in a wood fired hot tub. Spot shooting stars, otters and kingfishers from the comfort of your bed. Try wild swimming or take the boat out on the pond. Enjoy yoga on the jetty in the early morning, lie in a hammock with a book or just do……..nothing. Sleep in a cabin cocoon hidden from the busy world. Re-connect with yourself and the simple pleasures of being in the wild. If you want to explore further then we are 5 minutes from the beaches of Cardigan Bay and half an hour from the Cambrian Mountains in West Wales. Everything we do is founded on the belief that we need to be kind to the planet, so your stay here will have minimum impact on the environment. And we promise there will ALWAYS be somewhere dry and toasty warm to snuggle up indoors, even in the dark depths of winter.

I think I might have been misleading you about the wood fired baths.
I’ve been trying to convey the experience as being a quiet, undisturbed time in nature. And I’ve always told guests that they would have the baths all to themselves for the whole evening.
As you can see this is a lie. Actually you might have someone watching you the whole time you’re soaking and even trying to put their paws into the water and generally making the experience a lot less calm than I’ve made out. 🐈‍⬛
So if you want a quiet, calm and relaxing bath experience with nobody interrupting then maybe go somewhere else. Or book the baths here on a rainy evening 😊

Weekend walks in the mountains. ⛰️

Cader Idris is one of my favourite mountain adventures, and makes a memorable day trip from the cabins. A good dose of fresh air, big skies and those incredible mountain views.
Finish up with a wood-fired bath back at base camp to ease those aching bones.
If you’re staying for a few days and fancy a proper adventure, Cader Idris is well worth adding to the list.

Lazy days here in your own little cabin, tucked away in a little wooded valley- it’s like being transported to another world. ✨
Time doesn’t matter and you can tune into your own natural rhythm. Campfire breakfasts, midnight swims, reading all day long in bed. Your choice.

Weekend wandering along the local coastline. Baby seals were spotted and we listened carefully to hear the waterfalls in the woods reciting Welsh poetry- As per the legend.
All this, right on our doorstep!

An autumn break with the kids. 🍂

Half term isn’t too far away if you fancy slowing things down for a few days.

Back to basics: Campfires, muddy wellies, cold swims, starry skies and days with no schedules. Theres no screens here and no Wi-Fi so you can leave the world behind, properly switch off and be together as a family.

A little bit like camping holidays used to be — only with a warm bed in a cosy cabin at the end of the day. 😉

Wow September — you flew by. 🍄🔥✨

But you were beautiful. Calm and quiet and golden, with misty mornings, chilly swims, slow evenings and so warm!

You were just what I needed.

And now somehow it’s October tomorrow. How??

I saw Christmas crackers in a shop yesterday and was slightly terrified. 😳

Let’s not rush things, shall we? I’m still enjoying autumn arriving slowly, one misty morning at a time. 🍂

Yesterday I put the heating on before the guests arrived~~The season of snuggling up is here. 🍂

Campfires glowing in the dusk, starry skies, misty mornings, conkers and berries, rainy days, cold swims and steaming hot showers. Evenings snuggled up warm and cosy, watching the raindrops tracing down the window.

I’m sad summer is over, but with the smell of woodsmoke in the air and the evenings drawing in, I’m kind of ready to start cosying up now. 🤎
