Record-breaking temperatures and very dry conditions mean the risk of wildfires in Kent's countryside parks and other outdoor spaces is high.

We all have our part to play in reducing the risk of fires starting. 🔥

Service Update - Saturday 15th August

On Saturday 15th August, we will be operating a diesel only timetable. Our steam locomotives will not be in operation.

The Government has this evening issued a Severe Alert stating a very high risk of wildfires, and any activity that may cause a wildfire should not be undertaken.

This may come as a disappointment to many of you, as it is to us, but in light of this alert we must act responsibly, and respect our railway neighbours and the countryside we operate through.

Our resident diesel locomotive, 12 J B Snell, will be in operation on our reduced diesel only timetable below.

We will post further updates on the days to come should this be for longer than tomorrow, and thank you all for your understanding and support of the railway.

🍴Monday - Wednesday: Light lunch menu with sandwiches/toasties with a seasonal specials menu - 12pm - 3pm.

🍕 Thursdays: Unit 1 Pizzas - 12pm - 7:30pm.

🍔 Friday - Sunday - Pop-up Kitchens (including Floss n Bambz & T'S TACOS) on alternating weekends - 12pm onwards

🌟 Plus some extra dates due to staff holidays!!!
