There is an 'uninterrupted view to the west' of the castle which is critical for seeing the eclipse 🌔

The castle is set to open its grounds after hours to give visitors the opportunity to view a "once in a generation" solar eclipse this Wednesday.

Numbers to the event have been deliberately limite so that visitors get the best possible views from the castle's west wall, which runs from the windmill to the Clock Tower.
