Wow, it’s actually raining!
We haven’t had rain like this in months. It’s good for the ground and the plants and animals, but it’s not my favourite….. not really ready for summer to be over yet 🙈🤣☀️

If these clear skies hold then we should have a good view of the solar eclipse from Dolbryn - the top field (Sunset View) will be the best bet!

The moon will block out more than 90% of the sun in the UK from around 18:00 BST, while parts of Iceland and Spain will witness a rare total eclipse.

With the current spell of very dry weather, we’ve made the difficult decision to temporarily stop the use of campfires and BBQs on site to help keep everyone safe.

We are happy to allow disposable BBQs, provided that they are:
• Raised well off the ground
• Used with a bucket of water close by, just in case
• Completely cold before being disposed of

We really appreciate your understanding and cooperation while these dry conditions continue. Thank you for helping us look after the site and keep it safe for everyone. 🌞
