Things to do near Peaks and Tides......fancy Fly fishing? 🎣

Our son Ryan rarely travels without his fly fishing rod. So he was more than excited to bring it with him during his last visit and explore the waters of Tollymore Forest Park. Ancient trees, moss-covered rocks, and the sound of the river running through the forest. It always feels like another world, and to Ryan, an afternoon of catch and release was simply magical.

It's just another side of Peaks and Tides that we love sharing. The sea, the mountains, the town, some trails and some pretty special places to cast a line. 🎣

There’s something very special about this walkway.

Surrounded by the sea, the blooming gardens, the Mournes and the gentle buzz of the town, it’s a little multi-sensory treat that invites you to pause and take it all in....

A morning walk, fresh sea air and those views....what a way to start the day. 🌊🌿⛰️

When we hear "the definition of relaxation" and "best self service apartment" they have ever stayed in, warms our hearts.

A little look inside Peaks & Tides… ⛰🌊

We talk a lot about the sea, the mountains and everything we love about Newcastle… but it’s been a while since we’ve shown you the space you get to come home to.

Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, plenty of room to gather together, and plenty of little corners to disappear into with a coffee and a book.

And of course, the sea is never very far away. 🌊

We wanted Peaks & Tides to feel comfortable, calm and easy. A place to unpack, settle in and feel at home for a few days.
