🌲 NEW TRAIL RACE COMING TO NEWCASTLETON - SCOTTISH BORDERS 🌲

We’re excited to bring a brand new 10km trail running event to Newcastleton on Saturday 15th August 2026.

From the team at Mayer Active - organisers with over 15 years of experience delivering memorable running events – we’re heading to the Scottish Borders with an exciting new challenge.

Expect:
🌿 Flowing woodland singletrack
🌲 Twisting forest trails
⬇️ A few fun, technical downhill sections
💚 Stunning scenery and an unforgettable atmosphere

Important information for any guests already booked or thinking of booking with us for Kielder Water or Observatory. We ARE NOT affected by the road closure between Bellingham and Stannersburn, the route from Newcastleton to Kielder is unaffected. It appears some information is confusing and some sat navs are trying to send guests on a 50 mile detour
