Newick Wine Estate is back open for the season and it’s only a ten-minute walk from our door.

We made the walk ourselves this week, through the village, to the vines, past the first of the summer growth and straight back to The Bull for lunch. A reminder of how much good is happening within a mile of the green.

The estate runs tours every Friday and Saturday throughout summer, well worth the walk if you haven’t been. Come back to us after for something to eat, simply reserve your table via the link in our bio 👆

This pub is Piers Morgan's local and he's never been in it!

We can't work out why because their food is next level. We tried their XXL macaroon, that was bigger than our heads! As well as their twist on a pub classic: Ham, Egg & Chips (unlike you've ever seen before) and their Partridge Tacos!

The building itself has something for the history boffs too. It was a 1500s coaching inn and is reported to have underground tunnels linking it to the local church.
