Yesterday, we had the rare pleasure of being on the other side of the fence as guests at the beautiful wedding of some very special friends 🤍

People often ask us if we ever switch off from weddings... and yesterday was proof that we absolutely can!

It was such a joy to relax, soak up every moment, and simply enjoy the day. Knowing that another team of talented professionals was taking care of everything meant we could fully embrace being guests and celebrate alongside family and friends 🥰

As venue owners, we know just how much work goes on behind the scenes to create a seamless wedding day, so it was wonderful to experience it from a different perspective for once.

A truly beautiful day filled with love, laughter, and plenty of memories - just perfect! ✨

☀️ Hot weather is great for outdoor events, but it can be challenging when it comes to keeping food fresh and safe.

At White Birch, we take food quality seriously. That’s why all of our catering deliveries travel in our refrigerated van, ensuring every dish arrives at the correct temperature, looking and tasting exactly as intended.

However far the distance and whatever time of day, our refrigerated transport helps maintain food safety, freshness, and quality throughout the journey - even on the hottest summer days.

We’re Symon and Ruth, the owners of White Birch Manor - a truly extraordinary Manor House nestled in the beautiful rural Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.

Full of character and charm, White Birch Manor sleeps up to 18 guests across 10 luxurious bedrooms, each with stylish modern en-suites and bathrooms. Guests can also enjoy exclusive use of our large hot tub (available all year round) and heated outdoor swimming pool (May–September).

Steeped in history, the manor is filled with Tudor beams, wattle and daub walls, polished oak panelling, secret staircases and stunning inglenook fireplaces — the perfect place to relax, unwind and make unforgettable memories together.

Dogs absolutely love it here too! With large grounds and endless countryside walks straight from the door, there’s plenty of freedom to explore. Stone tiled floors make muddy paws easy to manage, while cosy rugs and roaring log burners create the perfect spot to curl up after a day outdoors. 🐾

For something truly special, Symon - our in-house chef - can create a bespoke fine dining experience for you and your guests. Start with pre-dinner drinks and canapés in the lounge or bar before enjoying a beautifully curated menu with waitress service in the dining room. The ultimate luxury dining experience from the comfort of the manor itself.

Ruth is on hand throughout to help coordinate your stay and make your celebration as seamless and memorable as possible. From helping organise special touches before your arrival to recommending local activities, walks and experiences, she’ll ensure every detail is thoughtfully taken care of. Whether you’re planning a milestone birthday, family gathering, anniversary celebration or simply a relaxing escape with loved ones, we’re here to help create a truly personal and unforgettable stay.
