Since leaving the Waverley(Great to see Tiff and Dave doing well!) and moving to Gatcombe we have been supporting the local pub The Gallybagger, Chillerton
This is is a volunteer run club that has a fully stocked bar, pool table, snooker table, function room and outside seating/garden area. They welcome everybody. Opening times are friday 7pm-11pm Saturday 7pm-11pm and monday 7pm-11pm.

They also hire out the venue for private functions and clubs. Tim often works behind the bar and I've helped at events which include, quiz nights, folk nights and the recent mini music festival which made in excess of £500 for the Isle of Wight prostate cancer support group a fantastic community effort.

So after 8 years we have finally passed over our lovely pub to a new isle of wight family, your new landlords are Tiffany and Dave.
Please support them with their new venture, they hope to keep things running much as we have along with their fantastic new ideas and enthusiasm.
We wish them the very best of luck and hope the Waverley continues to thrive as a proper local pub. Please make sure you join their page The Waverley Inn to keep up with what's on.

As for us we have moved to a lovely house in the country, we are going to have a good rest and visit family and friends that we've not had chance to catch up with. We then may look for some new challenge to keep us busy.

We want to thank all our lovely staff(most will be staying) who we have been amazingly supportive especially over the last few weeks. We love you all.

Many thanks also to our lovely customers, ex staff, bands, groups, charities and suppliers who have supported us through thick and thin. We have made some wonderful lifelong friends, welcomed 3 grandchildren and even got married during our time here we will take many happy memories with us.
