Nalu Ohana

Hi Everyone,

It's with some sadness that we have to announce that Nalu Ohana is no longer available to rent as a holiday rental. Unfortunately the combined challenges of finances, overheads, guest damage and relationships with neighbouring properties makes running a holiday let in this property very challenging. While the last few years have been difficult with Covid, in Cornwall, many holiday lets have seen an influx of holiday groups who would normally go abroad to sunshine and sangria. Unfortunately these guests have not had the level of respect we have enjoyed from most of our family groups (with a couple of exceptions in both categories). The property will have a new life as a home with new tenants moving in this week.

Thanks to all our guests who have enjoyed Nalu Ohana and Newquay in the manner that was intended. This will be the final post on this page, so please feel free to remove it from your pages/groups.

If you do want to holiday in Newquay in a house like Nalu Ohana, please let me know as I know some lovely places a few doors away who would be glad to accommodate you.

Who knows, when circumstances change, we might be back!

Tolcarne beach is a short walk along the beach at low tide. Check out The Colonial for fantastic food and a great spot for a sunset.

Have you been able to book a summer holiday? Want to get away to Barbados?

We have availability from August 8th for the rest of the summer holiday at Turtle View on the famous west coast of Barbados

Barbados has very few Covid cases. There’s no quarantine coming back into the UK. (You need a Covid test before coming)

Turtle View sleeps up to 6 people: 2 doubles (one en suite) and a twin room. Bathroom, WC.

Plunge pool, use of the large pool on site (shared between just 10 houses and very quiet.

5 minutes walk from fabulous Alleyne’s Bay.

The property will be marketed at £220 per night during August. (£1540 per week, + cleaning).

Here’s your mates rates deal for the school holidays.
£900 for one week
£1500 for 2 weeks

And... that includes cleaning before and during your stay.

So that’s less than half price for a 2 week stay. Valid for any period up to and include September 12th.

BA are already flying here, Virgin are restarting their service next week!

When you next visit, try the binoculars. You can almost taste the cocktails at The Headland Hotel! Amazing views of the beaches too. Check the surf before you leave!
