EMERGENCY RESILIENCE FUND

Last night, at a meeting of Newquay Town Council, we voted unanimously to reopen the Emergency Resilience Fund for the period of the current lockdown. This fund is aimed at charities and community groups who are faced with extra financial pressures because of the additional COVID related services that they are providing above and beyond what they normally do. Applying is extremely easy and quick and can be done via the online form on the Newquay Town Council website:

Calling all local parents - Please make sure if your kids are coming down the harbour to not jump off Newquay Harbour walls tombstoning. Kids are climbing onto moorings, boats and being abusive when asked to move. Their safety is a massive concern. They are risking their lives. Fisherman are struggling to get in and out of the harbour entrance whilst trying to avoid them. This is a working harbour and we don’t want to see anyone getting injured.
