Coastal Valley Camp & Crafts Eco Camping and Glamping family site. 1.5 miles from Newquay beaches. Platinum awarded toilets and showers. Wood fired food barn. Holistic yurt. Because….

Blended craft and holistic activities in this secluded quiet Porth valley behind Watergate Bay Cornwall. Kick your shoes off, sit back with a cup of tea, unwind and recharge in a beautiful landscaped valley. The sound of the babbling stream harmonises with the robins and song thrush and without a car or house in sight, you have found a bit of Cornish bliss. In addition to the beautiful, relaxing camp site and Glamping tents, you can if you wish, park the car up for days! We have 3 beaches in walking distance all accessed via public footpaths at the foot of the land. 1.25 miles, across the fields and headland is Watergate bay, (with good restaurants, surf shops and Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen). 1 mile country walk from Porth Beach and Whipsiderry beach. From May 2014, we are planning art & craft workshops for those that are game to explore their untapped talents and have fun with us. If you enjoyed crafts, Sewing Bee and Great British bake off, you will love being part of this.

Hi lovely campers...
2027 camping is launched... only advertising to our Facebook followers and return visitors for now.
It has been a challenge keeping costs down but we keep endeavouring to do so.

We will be opening later than usual end in 2027 in May half term.. however as return visitors you are welcome to come before this and do a self check in. We have freed our energies to concentrate on exciting 1 day and weekend wellness and nutrition retreats... watch this space.😄
Next one is our Autumn Retreat celebrating the Hunter Moon 23rd Oct - 25th Oct 26

NB
Boardmasters
Electric pitches usually no availability by January
Prices are higher this period... as you know we have a lot of additional work to contend with and last year in that 1 week we used an insane 1000gallons of water (shower) which had to be pumped into a tanker. To help everyone we have changed checkins and minimum stays. The system is set up for you to stay just 5 nights from Wednesday. No check in Tues.. no visitors or 1 person for 1-2 night allowed. If you are a return visitor and this doesn't suit.. contact us we will see if we can accommodate.

Look forward to welcoming you for more fun in 2027.

It is with sadness north Cornwall has to let you know the special main Holy Well cave is no more..
We waited to get confirmation of the land slide.
But for all those lucky enough to have visited (that's Andy in the one shot) it is true and for all those who thought " We'll do it next holiday".. its a reminder that we have to grab the moment and not always wait for the perfect time. Its also a reminder that the cliff edge is really dangerous when we get extreme dry and then heavy rain.
Hope you all have had a super summer ☀️

First of our putting nature first..most wonderful season for butterflies..I've meditated to their vision.. dry weather has helped and our buddleia bushes and leaving the glamping field wild flowers and grasses long has created butterfly walks for weeks now. Just beautiful memories for everyone

But as Facebook limits me to 1 video..🙄 you'll have to come and see for yourselves

In this age of Google and Ai.. it is still nice to have a beautiful travel book. If you love our vibe then I can really recommend this book.
About 7 years ago the team of 3 ( Alexandra Gossink, Geert-Jan Middelkoop, Gail Bennie) toured stayed with us as paying guests.. what we didn't know was they were compiling a cool, independent surf and road-trip guidebook highlighting local food, cozy seaside places to sleep, surf spots, and hidden coastal gems.
We knew we had been featured only after it came out.. we were never asked for a penny in advertising ... which demonstrates that every suggestion in there is genuine.. not a collection of sponsoring businesses which so often happens.
Some recent visitors from France reminded me of this when they stayed this week. So if you need a lovely present for someone or yourself here is a suggestion ..... Enjoy the summer everyone.
