You don't have to wait for the weather to enjoy the beach and an ice cream 😋 Even on a grey day, Cornish beaches are beautiful places for a walk. We saw horses enjoying a sandy stroll and tiny dogs swimming in rock pools 😊

We managed a lovely break at the caravan to round off the summer holidays, visiting the Eden Project, Lanhydrock National Trust, Dairyland Farm Park, Crantock Beach/Newquay and Beachcomber, oh and of course, we fitted in a little fishing 🤭

Can't believe the kids are back to school this week, so of course, already planning our next visit, everyone needs something to look forward to

Even on a grey day, St Ives is just lovely, so much to see and do, beautiful galleries, unique shops or just hang out on the beach, you won't be disappointed, but arrive early if you want to find a parking space

Enjoyed a lovely walk amongst the lavender this afternoon, just down the road from Bolingey Lakes
The kids loved the mud kitchen and having a swing in the woods
Already planning another visit for a lavender cream tea

It isn't all brilliant blue sky at White Acres Holiday Park today, though this photo would be different if taken from the other direction 🤭 but thought the thundery looking sky was a bit more fitting with the pirate ship 🏴‍☠️
There are picnic benches scattered around the park, whether you just want to watch the kids and not have to sit on the ground or enjoy a family picnic, the benches are rather handy 👍

Here we go again, our ... 5th season, but it's only our second full season (we hope!)

I am so proud of our little home from home, ready to receive our first guests of 2022. I am far too excited about having little things like cushions and DVDs back, hope it makes your break just a little bit more comfortable, happy holidays 🏖
