Please meet Sean Mooney! 🚴♂️
Sean, his lovely wife Susie, and their little dog stayed at Trethiggey Holiday Park last night as Sean takes on an EPIC mission for charity!
He’s currently on a 6-week journey, cycling an incredible 1,500 miles from Land’s End to John o’Groats — taking the scenic route through Wales, over the Yorkshire Dales, and along Scotland’s stunning west coast. That’s roughly the same distance as London to Athens! Along the way, Sean will tackle some of the biggest climbs in England, Wales, and Scotland, reaching a total elevation equivalent to climbing Mount Everest at least three times. 💪
Sean is doing this in support of MfA, an amazing charity that trains some of the world’s poorest people with practical skills to help them find work and build better futures for themselves and their families. After visiting their site in Zambia, Sean has seen first-hand how thoughtfully every donation is used.
His goal is to raise £2,500 — enough to fund all the equipment and resources needed to teach practical workshop skills for this year’s mechanics course.
Sean isn’t alone on this adventure! He’s joined by his incredible wife Susie and their little dog. Susie is the much-needed support crew, driving ahead, setting up camp each night at different campsites along the way — what a star! 🌟
