The Duchy Ford Show weekend is coming up soon and we still have availability here @ The View should you wish to stay over for the whole weekend. It was a great turn out last year - fun for all the family - raffles, trade stalls, prizes to be won and live music on Saturday night by the Strawdogs and Codachrome discos - with a special guest appearance from Lightening McQueen. Yabba dabba doooo its that time of year again - it has been an amazing season and we can't thank you all enough for making it a good one. We have had lots of laughs and thoroughly enjoyed seeing all you all here. Wishing everyone a good and safe Winter and we will see you all again next year :-)

Our Sunshine Cafe & Bar will be closing this Sunday 31st August 2025, after Breakfast service. Just letting you all know so that you can get your last pint of Hawkstone in, or give yourself a break and let us serve you with some freshly cooked food and do the washing up too 😂 Everyone is welcome and we are dog friendly. 🤩🤩

Exciting News - Our Sunshine Cafe and Gin Bar will be open every weekend from the 13th June 2025.

We will be open Friday and Saturday evenings from 6pm with last orders for food at 8.15pm. Everything on our menu is eat in or takeaway, everyone is welcome and we are dog friendly too.

For Breakfasts we serve freshly baked croissants and pain aux chocolates in the Shop and we advise that you pre order the night before to avoid any disappointment as they do fly out the door. We also have a takeaway coffee/tea machine and a seating area outside for you to sit, relax and wake up :-)

“WE ARE HIRING!!!” – We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to come and join our team here @ The View, Watergate Bay.

We are looking for a part time shop assistant to come and work within our Campsite shop over the May Spring Bank Holiday week and the School Summer holidays.

The right candidate will need to have a friendly approach to customer service and be enthusiastic to learn. Full training will be given.

The pay is minimum wage per hour; plus holiday pay of 12.75% per hour; 20% staff discount on food & drink from the shop/café (excl alcohol); uniform provided; Pension Scheme; Additional hours may be available during busy times.

This is a great opportunity if you wish to work for a friendly family run business, in a beautiful area, who strive towards providing happy memories for families that are on holiday with us.
