The challenge is simple:

🔥 Can we get more than 110 surfers riding the same wave at the same time?

Newquay has the surf.
Newquay has the community.

Now we need YOU to help us make it happen.

Earthwave isn't just about breaking a record. It’s about bringing the whole town together to celebrate everything that makes Newquay special — surfing, beaches, businesses, families, music, creativity, community and our connection to the ocean.

Here's what's on at L***y Glaze this week

Well with all this sunny weather its made the surf flat so here is a shot from a few months ago on one of our stunning walks along Towan Head. If you would like to join us for some chat, exercise, and beautiful views we meet at 10am every Tuesday outside the Red Lion pub (TR7 1HE). Its fairly good terrain but a bit uneven in places with a few steps so wear some sturdy shoes and some sun cream! The walk is approximately 1.5 miles and takes roughly 1.5 hours then a coffee or cool drink at the Boardmasters Beach Bar. It's Free to attend the only cost is for your coffee. New faces are always welcome, so if you have been thinking about joining us why not come along ?

🎶 Looking for live music this weekend?

Head to The Treninnick Tavern on Saturday 11th July, where Avalon will be performing live from 7pm-9pm.

Known for their fantastic covers and great atmosphere, it's set to be a brilliant evening of live music. If you're looking for something to do, why not head along and show your support?
