This is a really hard post to share 😔.

An Bowji is now closed 😥 and I'm going to take some time away from the page.

I will post occasionally of our beautiful county and Foodie Friday's obviously 😎.

Here we are, the first foodie Friday in 2026 😎.

is a fantastic family friendly cafe, in the heart of Newquay. Topher and Aimee are amazing at running community events here, especially involving families and getting people together.

With very tasty treats and a lovely friendly atmosphere, this is a great way to start the year 😎.

I had the opportunity to go around the other day and I had a delightful walk around the gardens.

It was lovely to see so many different Camelia flowering, also some snowdrops 😍. You can see the daffodils pushing out of the ground.

I can't believe it's New Year's Eve today, the year has flown by.

Wowsers tomorrow is 2026 😎😍.

Wowsers has done it again, a spectacular show of lights and an enchanting evening.

They've even got Rodolf and some mates in the Mediterranean biome 😎.

We're lucky enough to have Eden so close and it's always fantastic to wander around, changing as you go through the year.

With different themes running during the holidays and the ice rink from October to February.

Always a good family day out, whatever the weather 🤔.

We're in that betwixtmas season when you're not sure what day it is 🤔, the fridge is still full of food 🥴 and when do we put the bins out 🫣😎.

Our last Christmas tree is another locally made mussel tree, picked up from the closest beach Porth.

With a few pearls to decorate it, you'll have to agree it's another stunning tree.

This year this tree decorated the downstairs king bedroom, alongside a reindeer and a miniature driftwood tree.

It's Monday and not yet bin day, as they are a day late this week 😜.

How is it the last foodie Friday of the year 😱.

is a fantastic, not to be missed, cafe just outside Newquay on the A3075 at Qwinear camping.

Open Wednesday to Saturday, follow their social media for more details, this place is a must if you are after excellent food, large portions and proper prices.

They have a shelter to protect you from the Cornish weather and you can bring your own drinks.

Happy eating, you'll certainly enjoy this one 😋.

Here's another tree, the biggest, here at Bowji 🎄.

This bespoke tree is on the wall in the lounge behind the sofa. Made for Bowji by , it just fits in beautifully.

Some of the baubles are handmade by . They are Japanese temari balls, hours of work to make these intricate designs. Thanks 🙏.

I hope you're all ready for the big day tomorrow 🎅🎄😎.
