Ben is 6 years of age. He has been diagnosed with an extremely rare genetic condition called Pitt-Hopkins Syndrome (PTHS).

Ben is the son of our Head of PE, Mr Niall McAleenan, and the family are currently on a fundraising drive to provide Ben with all the support he needs in his journey to 1st steps.

Ben will be going through treatment at NAPA (Neurological and Physical Abilitation centre), London in October. Among the various fundraising drives, Niall, along with his wife Gillian and several close friends, including some members of our staff, will take on the ‘Seven Sevens’ challenge in the Mourne Mountains in August while donations can also be made via the link below.
