I always try to make sure that guests leave Kiltariff feeling they have been well looked after . I was delighted to receive this lovely review .

Possibly the nicest B&B in Ulster
An absolutely gorgeous old country house that feels like a step back in time away from the world. Cozy, comfy, beautifully presented and full of character & stories. From welcoming us with a roaring fire to seeing us off on our way with an amazing breakfast spread, our host Catherine left nothing to be desired.
I cannot recommend Kiltariff Hall enough. Just sublime.

“If the cows are lying down, rain is coming”
That’s one of the many superstitions I learned from my father growing up on the farm here at Kiltariff. Yes these ladies probably have it right as rain is indeed forecast for today and the clouds look very angry over the Mournes. For farmers everyone their livelihood is dependant on the weather and it was a daily topic of discussion here. I still avidly watch the weather and always need to know what the forecast is going to be . Today my American guests set off to explore the Mournes with their picnic lunch so I hope the rain doesn’t arrive too early otherwise they won’t get the best of the view of Donard from Murlough Beach or the views at the Silent Valley.
Over the last few weeks many American, Canadian and English guests have combined a holiday here with The Open at Portrush . Let’s hope the rain doesn’t spoil the final round today . Happy Sunday 😁
