A special day for us yesterday as we were privilaged to have two marching bands visit the bar.
St Joseph's Flute Band Ballymartin who I was the drum major for , someone told me yesterday it was 40 years ago since I lead the band out on its first parade on the 15th August, but I've done the sums and Im way to young for that to be true😉. It was so good to see them yesterday back on the road strong, sounding and looking brilliant, a credit to you all. You really did yourselves proud ✊️👏

St. Josephs Pipe Band Longstone who we also have a special affiliation with. They have been coming to O'Hares on the 15th of August for well over 30 years and it has been our absolute pleasure to have them. I have so much respect for this band, an All Ireland pipe band and top of their leauge in every way. A huge congratulations from us on your celebrating 150 years of being on the road. An amazing achievement and a testiment to those who have not only kept it alive but have made it flourish . We wish you many more years of success.
The 15th August in Rostrevor would not be the same without them. 👏👏👏🇮🇪
