Our Story of Anran:

Set within rolling hills and stunning countryside you will find a grove of majestic grade 2 listed buildings and an adjacent dairy farm know by the locals as “Tidwell”. In April 2013 the farm was purchased from the church commission of England and a major renovation was undertaken to meticulously restore the property and to convert it to a private residence. In making this o

ur home and also a place from where we can work we have not only aspired to create luxurious accommodation and a variety of venue rental options but also moved our photographic and design studio on to the premises. We have also started farming again and are proud to say that we have a variety of animals and planted a whole host of fruits and vegetables that are already being harvested.

A heartfelt thank you to Jenny and the team at Sustainable Staverton & Dartington Parish Council for making our very first Open Day truly special.

The ANRÁN team worked hard to bring this special event to life and the weather rewarded us unexpected conditions.

The grounds were open and the kind words from our guests left us feeling deeply touched and grateful.

We are also delighted to share that all proceeds from the day will be donated to and 🐾🎗️ — because a truly good day should always give something back.

We are really happy to be opening the doors to our private kitchen garden lovingly tended to by 

Come and see the work Jenny has done here at ANRÁN since taking over the kitchen garden using a mixture of organic, regenerative and permaculture principles with a passion for biodiversity and healthy soil.

There are some amazing growers and gardeners taking part in this event jointly organised by Sustainable Staverton & Dartington Parish Council.

Jenny will open up the ANRÁN Kitchen Garden between 11am and 3pm on Sunday 7th June - feel free to drop in anytime and have a wander around. There will be tea & coffee, plus plants for sale to raise money for our charities  and 

Plenty of parking here, but we understand other gardens are limited so check in advance and car share / walk / cycle where possible.

This Pearls table setup has been created as a mock-up reference to give guests a glimpse of what our ANRÁN TEAM can accomplish for your event.

This table setting was inspired by one of those truly magical moments, arriving home to a breathtaking evening sunset and feeling an overwhelming desire to bring that same beauty to life for our wedding couples.

Hi, I’m Edwin, co-owner of ANRÁN. I bring with me a wealth of experience as a Creative Director for international publications magazines, alongside two decades in advertising and professional photography and every single detail you see here has been crafted with love and intention.

Every concept I create is unique and lovingly tailored to each individual couple because no two love stories are ever the same, and neither should their wedding be.

This setting was crafted using only what was naturally available within the ANRÁN environment, keeping things beautifully eco-friendly whilst celebrating the stunning surroundings that make our venue so special, all of which I can personally recreate exclusively for you right here.

Over the years, I have carefully curated a wonderful collection of pieces, all housed within our very own THE PROP SHOP, including a selection of props that I have personally handcrafted with love. This opens the door to a truly intimate brainstorming experience, where I sit down with each wedding couple and corporates company, listen to their dreams, and bring their vision to life in a way that no catalogue or Pinterest board ever could.

From bespoke styling and decoration to full coordination on your wedding day, our in-house wedding consultation service is designed with one goal in mind to ensure that you, your families, and your guests enjoy a truly unforgettable experience at ANRÁN. Thank you all so much for your beautiful messages, kind words, flowers, and for checking in on us — your love and support mean more to us than words can express, and we know it will help carry us through as we heal with time. ❤️

Yesterday, we spent a beautiful late afternoon at River Erme, Plymouth — a place Gibson would have absolutely loved. He and Bradley shared so many precious moments together by the seaside and the lake, both of them happiest when they were splashing in the water side by side. Being there felt like a quiet way of honouring him.

It was heartwarming to see Bradley enjoying himself and playing with other dogs, yet there were moments — especially this morning — where you could see him pause, glance around, and look for Gibson. That little look said everything. He misses his pal playmate, and it breaks our hearts just as much as it fills them with love.

We feel so fortunate to have had the company of dear friends, ANRÁN TEAM during this time, and having Andreas and Namfon right by our side throughout has meant the world to us. Their presence brought so much comfort when we needed it most.

After returning from Meadow Wood Pets Crematorium, something stirred in me — and I felt moved to create a beautiful tabletop setup, bathed in the warm glow of the evening sunshine, as a final sending off for our Gibson. I don’t think Gibson would have wanted me to sit around in grief. He was always full of life and joy, and I’d like to think he would have loved what I created in his honour.

Our sweet boy, Gibson — we miss you so dearly. The love, the laughter, and the memories you brought into our lives will live on in our hearts forever. 🐾
