Designed for Couples only, our cottage with hot tub and log burner is very beautiful - Total Privacy - Due to the appalling service of agents who shall remain nameless and def not shameless -I am opening to direct bookings. A couple who stayed with us recently, paid over £550+ (through a “budget” booking site for less than 48 hours - I have tried repeatedly for months now to work with the agents whom I am under contract to (and they wont let me go until January27) to talk to me about pricing and bookings. I completely give up with them Please contact me direct via message here to book. I have lots of space and happy to offer OFF PEAK rates during HIGH PEAK seasons - We are a couples only retreat - Minimum stay is 2 nights but it is always much better value if you can do 3 nights or more. Sadly we cannot take pets, and maximum persons on property is two or if you have a baby/infant under six months (we have a travel cot) then have a chat with us. Lots of dates available due to an overpricing structure which is not my choice. The whole idea of having an agent is to take the workload out of my hands - but clearly that is not happening. So please in the meantime, reach out to us for a direct booking. We are wonderful hosts, and our magical retreat is needing some love

We have glimpsed the Northern Lights before, but nothing like this.. from our home, art studio, smokehouse and the Orangerie.. Mother Nature gave us a picture perfect show. No filters!

Hey folks .. thank you to those reaching out to us with concerns. We are all safe here - including our guests - the fire crews and local services have worked tirelessly- our beautiful hills .. but thankfully although in sight did not come down as far to us that we would be evacuated. We are all safe and well and hope to see our spectacular countryside restored shortly. One of the reasons we are very strict on the “no bbq “ policy at the orangerie - all it takes is a random spark to initiate a nightmare. All safe folks and look forward to seeing you soon 🫶🏻

The fire service has deployed helicopters as part of efforts to extinguish the flames, while police have urged people to avoid the area.
