Huge congratulations to Steven Cronnie Family Butchers on winning best Black Pudding in Scotland award. We're so proud to say we buy all of the meat we serve to our guests from Steven and his team, along with his award winning steak pies. 😋

We are so excited to share some of our recent reviews on the day we hit 400 evening meals served since 6th April. It's been a super busy season so far with lots of new and returning guests enjoying all that Wigtown and the surrounding areas have to offer. Some wonderful comments about our cafes, bookshops, shops and in particular the very warm welcome all nationalities have received going to The Galloway Bar for the football. Cobwebs, Cafe Rendezvous Wigtown, ReadingLasses, Faodail, Books and Bakes, North Street Deli, and The Festival Book Shop to name a few. We've even had our guests pop into the Community Shop and have a conversation in Welsh with Val.

We're now starting to fill up for our winter project - Craigmount whole house holiday let too 🥰❤️

Another fully booked, very busy few weeks with so many lovely guests leaving wonderful reviews. We've had lots of guests with specific dietary requirements for breakfast and supper, so we chat to everyone upon arrival to make sure we get it right every time, and our guests feel confident and safe throughout their stay.

Another busy breakfast service here at Craigmount B and B. We are so lucky to have such great local food producers - Steven Cronnie Butchers, Auchtralure farm eggs, and tattie scones from Sweet Cakes Bakery. The reviews are the icing on the cake 🎂

'Everything was perfect! The breakfasts are delicious and will keep you going all day. Our room was spotless and had everything we could want and more. Nicole and Malcolm had great suggestions and made sure we had the most amazing holiday.'

It's been a mad, busy few weeks here at Craigmount since we reopened after our wonderful renovations this winter. All new bathrooms, new kitchen and utility/bootroom, new floors, new doors and so much painting and decorating it seemed endless.

A full house almost every night and over 100 evening meals has brought some great guests, new and old, and some brilliant reviews for so many local businesses.

We're filling up quickly for summer Bed and Breakfast guests, and super excited to announce that Craigmount will transform into a whole house booking experience from October until March every year - now available on airbnb or direct booking.
