Solid Luxury - Conifer Lodges Conifer Lodges offer self catering lodges & cottages, with private hot tubs on the edge of the Galloway forest. Most of our lodges are also dog friendly.

We have a range of lodges to suit everyones needs. Our 'Conifer' lodges sleep 4 people (twin room and one double room) and are available with a hot tub or without. Our 'Birch' lodges also sleep 4 people but have slightly larger bedrooms and also have a dishwasher in the kitchen. Again, these are available with, or without a hot tub. Our 'Lady Galloway' lodges sleep 6 people (One kingsize room with

en-suite, one twin room and also a twin gallery room). All 4 of our Lady Galloway lodges have hot tubs on the decking at the front of the lodge. Conifer Lodges is tucked away on the outskirts of Newton Stewart, Ideal place to escape and unwind. We are a two minute drive into the old market town of Newton Stewart or a 5-10 minute walk away. We are close enough to the A75 for days out if nothing locally takes your fancy. Newton Stewart and surrounding areas offer excellent places for walking and cycling and also golfing. Inside, you'll find a bright open-plan kitchen, dining and living space, three bedrooms and three bathrooms, including a master bedroom with its own feature bath.

Then step outside onto the enclosed decking, where your private hot tub awaits 🫧

Spend your days exploring the Galloway Forest, discovering the local area or simply enjoying the peace and quiet, before coming back to relax in the hot tub as the evening draws in.

And being in a Dark Sky region, don't forget to look up... on a clear night, the stars are pretty spectacular. ✨🌌

🌓 Something spectacular is happening in the Scottish skies this Wednesday...

On 12th August, a rare solar eclipse will sweep across the UK, and here in Dumfries & Galloway, around 92% of the sun will be covered by the moon.

The eclipse will be visible from around 6pm, reaching its peak at approximately 7.07pm, so imagine watching the light change across the landscape from your own private lodge...

And what better place to experience it than surrounded by the peaceful countryside of Dumfries & Galloway?

If you're looking for a last minute escape, we still have a couple of lodges available, so you could turn this rare event into a little midweek adventure!
