On March 22nd, my husband Matt McColl will be stepping into the ring at the Aberdeen Ultra White Collar Boxing event — and this fight is about so much more than boxing.
Ultra White Collar Boxing is an incredible event that brings together everyday people who commit to weeks of intense training, discipline, and determination, all for one powerful reason: to raise vital funds for charity. On fight night, they step into the ring in front of a live audience, pushing themselves far beyond their comfort zones to make a real difference.
Matt is dedicating every training session and this fight to raising funds for Anthony Nolan, a phenomenal charity that gives people with blood cancer and blood disorders a second chance at life. Anthony Nolan saves lives by growing their stem cell donor register, funding pioneering research, and providing outstanding support to patients and families when they need it most. For many facing devastating diagnoses, there is no cure without them.
This cause is deeply personal to us. Anthony Nolan recently helped a member of our own family, and we are truly grateful for everything they do. Supporting this charity is our way of giving back and helping ensure others get the same hope and chance at a future.
This challenge is tough — physically, mentally, and emotionally — but it’s nothing compared to what those battling blood cancer face every day.
If you’re able to support him, any donation, share, or message of encouragement would mean the world. Your generosity helps Anthony Nolan continue their life-saving mission and helps give someone hope for the future.
Thank you so much for your support 💙
