There are lots of fab places locally to have a meal or a coffee. This was my first visit to the Star hotel in Kingussie, where I had an absolutely delicious toasted sour bread with a poached egg and avocado and latte. Absolutely delicious! Next time I will take a photo before eating it!

Do you want to enjoy this weekend's sunshine? Stable cottage is available until Tuesday- I'd had it blocked off in case there was too much to do after I got back from holiday, but it is now all ready.

The Spring flowers are starting to come out. These were near the Insh Marshes viewpoint, along the little trail there. The viewpoint is a great spot to see a range of overwintering geese and swans, ducks, roe deer, and marsh harriers.

Did you know that we are only one and a half hours from one of the loveliest beaches in Scotland? These photos were taken at Lossiemouth last week. But there are other beaches an hour away. So you can enjoy mountains and sea in one stay.
