Great to see that the Highland Wildlife Park have welcomed 3 Amur Tiger Cubs and although you wont be able to view them until the end of July the park has plenty of other animals to see in the meantime. We are only a 10 minute drive from the Wildlife Park so if you book a couple of nights with us you can make the most of your day without the worry of a long drive home.

We would like to thank everyone who joined us this weekend for our re-opening. It was great to see so many regular visitors who have become friends of the Highlander over the years. Hopefully the new guests we welcomed will become part of the "extended Highlander family" too. We hope to see you all again soon.

We have had a very busy time since we re-opened and would like to thank all of you who have stayed with us and adhered to our covid guidelines. It has been a pleasure to welcome you all and we hope to see you back soon. We were also delighted to welcome our first tour group last night - we hope it will be the first of many.

Hope you are all keeping safe. Our opening date has been bought forward and we are delighted that we will be able to welcome you back to the Highlander from Friday 17th July. We have been busy getting the hotel ready and we have many new procedures in place.

We’ve been rigorous in our introduction of extra cleaning measures to make our spaces as safe as possible. Our team have all received Covid 19 awareness training, and they will complete a health questionnaire and temperature-check every day before starting work.

You’ll find additional signage and sanitising stations at key points around the hotel, plus our team members will, at all times, carry their own sanitiser.

Social distancing guidelines will be important for us all, so please don’t take offence if you get a reminder from our team – we know how easy it is to forget as we work our way back to a more normal life.

Please do feel assured that the safety of our guests and staff is our absolute priority. We are putting in place a full set of protocols to ensure your safety and we hope this will not detract from the Highland welcome and friendly banter that many of you have enjoyed over the years.

Thanks for all your positive messages about us re-opening - they are much appreciated.

We have lots of new procedures to put in place in the coming weeks to ensure that your stay will be a very safe one and we will keep you posted on our progress.

We have a a number of special deals coming up and a competition for a 2 night stay for a family of 4 so keep an eye on our posts.
