Really sad about this one. I buy quality bedding for the cottage and this is a new set which cost me 225. Only the second time on the bed and it’s had an indelible pen used in it and left in the bed staining both the sheet and the duvet. I have followed all instructions i can find to remove it to no avail. I have contacted the guest who has apologised and told me what one it was so I could try and get it out. Also she said she would pay for the bedding. Until I told her how much it was. She then said she’d pay reasonable costs to replace them; which is 70 for the sheet and 110 for the duvet cover. She has now gone quiet. 😕 unfortunately reasonable costs in this case is replacement costs as it’s brand new but it looks like I won’t be seeing any of it. I don’t want to start using low quality bedding as that affects the sleep and comfort of the beds

Huge shout out to our wonderful friend Katy who is cleaning while we are away and today had to deal with dog waste from three dogs who’s owners have not picked up after them for two days at the cottage. Bless you Katy we are so grateful. This is not what we should need to do between guests. 😢
