A visit to Gower isn’t complete without a trip over to Rhossili Bay, and this is an added bonus. You wouldn‘t want to miss it, and it’s just 8 miles from Nicholaston Farm.

I didn't know it until now, but May is National Walking Month!
I've always known that Gower and Swansea are great walking destinations though, and now is a great time to do it. We have availability, the schools are back in, and the paths and beaches are virtually deserted.

Have a look at this link to see what 'Visit Swansea Bay' suggest.

ps: the Coast Path runs along our southern perimeter and is just one step out of our site.

The scent of summer is in the air and it’s a great time of year to pull on your boots …

I wouldn’t want to miss this!!

A UNIQUE summer’s evening of music, action and airborne excitement is set to transform the sky above Swansea this July.

You can see this if you come and stay, but you’ll have to be up early in the morning!

I took a trip to Bracelet Bay this morning and was very lucky. This is just before the sun peaked out for about 10 minutes and then disappeared into the clouds again.

The lighthouse, situated on Mumbles Head and built in 1794, protects shipping from the Mixon Shoal. It was fully automated in 1934 when the lighthouse keeper retired and Trinity House took ownership in 1975.
