The Secret Cabin team is me, Lorna, and I love my job. I even enjoy cleaning the Cabin (way more than cleaning my house), making it clean and pretty for guests, adding extra touches for special occasions is a pleasure.

Getting amazing feedback from guests genuinely makes me do a little happy dance. My latest guests sent me a message on arrival to say "Cabin exceeds my expectations, it's wonderful ♥️" that is what its all about 😊

It's beginning to feel a lot like spring 😊 Tulips are in the Cabin (and .cottage !) and I've been taking advantage of a couple of calendar gaps to do a few wee maintenance jobs, like the sticky door which now closes and locks like a dream.

I have to admit that I did treat myself to a cup of coffee in the Cabin yesterday and soaked up some of its calming vibes whilst listening to the bird song and tuning out what is happening in the rest of the world.

Its so important to know what's going on but at the same allow yourself some peace and quiet, if you can, to keep your mind balanced 🌷

Swap walks on pavements for walks in woods and on the beach. The Secret Cabin is dog friendly, we even have a basket of doggy essentials for your stay. Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome to stay with you, just add them to your booking in the 'add ons' section.

It's hard to beat a wander down to the beach to start the day. No one else there, just you, the waves and the seabirds (and maybe your dog!).

Seacliff Beach is only a five minute walk from the Secret Cabin and the joy of off season stays is that the beach is lovely and quiet, and quite often you can have the whole place to yourself.
