The seasons are changing, and so is our menu…

Our new autumn menu is arriving very soon, inspired by the Scottish harvest and the wonderful produce around us — including plenty from our own Pinkie Orchard.

Think warming dishes, beautiful Scottish produce, orchard fruits and proper comforting food made for crisp autumn days. 🍏🔥

Tonight’s the night to cosy up in front of the fire at The Open Arms.

Enjoy five fabulous Scottish cheeses from I.J. Mellis Cheesemongers:

Lanark Blue — rich & creamy sheep’s milk blue · bold, tangy finish
Anster — crumbly farmhouse cheese · fresh, buttery & gently tangy
Isle of Mull Cheddar — mature farmhouse cheddar · bold, savoury & nutty
Howgate Brie — soft Scottish cheese · creamy, buttery & delicate
Corra Linn — aged sheep’s milk cheese · firm, nutty & subtly sweet

Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be saying a little see you soon to Euan, Nico & Graham as they head off to uni! 🥹 (Graham is camera shy unfortunately…)

Thankfully, we’re not getting rid of them that easily… they’ll all be back with us over Christmas! 🎄

We want to wish the three of them the best of luck at uni — we’ll miss having them around, but we’re excited to see what’s ahead for them! 🤍

And to the rest of our team, our lovely customers and everyone following us who’s heading back to uni, college or school over the next few weeks — we wish you all the very best of luck! 📚✨
