One of Northumberland’s crown jewels is right on your doorstep when you stay with us 🏰 Bamburgh Castle rising above the beach is honestly one of the most breathtaking sights in England - and we never get tired of sending our guests there.
Start your morning with a walk along the wide white sands as the mist lifts off the sea. Watch seals bobbing in the shallows, keep an eye out for puffins on the Farne Islands just offshore, and let the kids run free on one of the cleanest, most spacious beaches in the whole country. There’s something about that big open Northumberland sky that just resets you completely. 🌊
Once you’ve had your fill of the beach, head up into the village and explore the castle itself. Over 1,400 years of history, incredible views from the battlements across the coast and out to the Farne Islands, and enough stories to keep everyone talking all the way back to camp. 🗺️
Whether you go at sunrise, spend a full family day out, or simply drive over for a sunset stroll - Bamburgh never disappoints. It’s the kind of place that makes you fall in love with the north of England all over again. ❤️

Fuel your Northumberland adventure ☕️ Just a short drive from us The Running Fox is the perfect place for lunch, coffee dates and even a sweet treat. Pies, sandwiches, epic scones and homemade cakes! In the most gorgeous countryside settings. Dog friendly too so you can bring the whole gang! 🐾🍰🥧

🚜 Warning: Harvest madness is about to begin… 🌾😂

The farm WhatsApp has officially gone into overdrive. The crops are ready, the neighbours have already fired up their combines, and everyone’s getting just a little bit excited… (you’d think it was Christmas!).

The only slight hiccup? We haven’t made the silage yet and the grain shed still isn’t quite ready… so as always the race is on! 🤞🌦️

If you’re coming to stay with us over the next few weeks don’t be surprised if you’re woken by the gentle rumble of tractors or find yourself waiting for a combine to trundle past. 🚜 It’s all part of the authentic working farm experience—and we promise it’s worth it!

Wish us luck… We wouldn’t have it any other way. Here’s hoping the weather behaves and the coffee keeps flowing! ☕☀️🌾

Peweet and Plover - the two showman’s wagons that don’t always get the spotlight, but honestly? They deserve it 🌟 If there are just two of you, they can actually work out cheaper than the pods - AND you get a whole lot more thrown in. More space, more charm, more of those little touches that make a stay feel really special.The best bit? Both have availability next week! So if you’ve been thinking about it, now’s the time. 🐦✨

When I read this review this is what I was imagining the cheeky cows to be like 🙈🙈 Here’s a draft review — warm, genuine, and with the cow detail landing as the fun highlight it deserves:
We booked on a complete whim with barely any notice and couldn’t have been luckier. The pod was perfect for two adults and a dog, comfortable, well-equipped, and with a real sense of seclusion.
The hot tub was the star of the show. Soaking in it with uninterrupted views across the fields to the sea was genuinely special, the kind of thing you don’t forget in a hurry.
What we didn’t expect was the entertainment from the neighbouring cows, who seemed very curious about our stay and paid us several visits whilst we were in the hot tub. Charming, if slightly uninvited. we couldn’t have scripted it better. Jane, we know you had nothing to do with that... probably.
Would absolutely recommend and hope to be back.

Life on the farm! It’s a busy old week at the moment with shearing taking place, bulls going out (one of the new ones from Blackhaugh Aberdeen Angus) some new life spotted down in the village!! And tedding by the coast with views to die for 😮‍💨
