It could be the last time this year due to changes in weather conditions, but pleased to announce the little green dog charity cake stall is out again tomorrow AND SUNDAY with limited cakes sorry to say.... it has been so hectic this week due to running the care & Care & Repair Baladi Dog Rescue fundraising auction, you can find almost 100 quality items listed on the Care & Repair Baladi Dog Rescue FUNDRAISING page of facebook, some great collectors items, as well fab stocking fillers, something for everyone, please do have a browse, auction ends this sunday evening 10pm 29th September. FOSTER REQUIRED PLEASE. DOG AT RISK OF BEING KILLED. Large breed dog de Bordeaux x male, un-neutered due to age of 9 MONTHS, YES, MONTHS, APPAULING ISN'T IT.
NO aggressive tendencies and good with small dogs, (not been tested with larger breeds). NOT cat tested. Vaccinated, microchipped, described as a big soft goofy fellow. Option to adopt permanently is possible to right home. Currently being lead trained, need continuation with basic training, not enough time has been spent with this lovable chap and as a result, the owner is now calling time. WHAT A BUM SITUATION, POOR DOG. Would suit someone who would like to invest a little time to save a life.

Anyone interested, please contact me in private message. This dog is in the Suffolk area, but can travel anywhere. Home checks and paperwork to go forward will apply. Serious applicants only please, we don't have time to mess around.

EASTER SUNDAY ... CAKE DAY!
on the little green veg stall on Mill Common Road (half a mile from the coast road, turning close to the poachers pocket), there will be cake for dog charity. Very large pieces of:
CHOCOHOLIC CHOCOLATE
BANOFFEE
CHERRY BAKEWELL
SALTED CARAMEL SPONGES
along with ORGANIC CHICKEN free range eggs.. yes that's right.. even the chickens are organic! AT ONLY £1 PER HALF DOZ FOR DOG CHARITY. There will also be organic kale. All proceeds to Irena's angels (please do have a look on FB on her page, wonderful work to help the dogs going on with Irena, who tirelessly and selflessly works around the clock to save lives of street dogs). Location if you need a postcode is NR28 9TY but just look for the cart, it is quite noticeable.

BREED SPECIFIC LAW IS GOING TO KILL LITERALLY THOUSANDS OF DOGS IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS, I AM URGING YOU ALL, PLEASE EMAIL YOUR VETS AND LET THEM KJNOW YOU ARE NOT IN FAVOUR OF EUTHANASIA BASED ON OWNER WISHES ALONE... MANY PEOPLE ARE THROWING AWAY THESE DOGS AS IT IS EASIER.... PLEASE, EMAIL YOUR VETS NOW. YOU ARE WELCOME O USE MY EMAIL IF YOU WISH.

Dear all (To whom it may concern)

I am very sorry to contact you regarding this subject, but after much friend/internet related discussion, and the appalling current situation with the new breed specific laws regarding bulldog type dogs (of which I am sure you are in receipt of the very broad specifications), I wanted to write to you to let you know that I am not in favour of any veterinary practice who are prepared to kill (pardon the elicit use of words, but this is brutally honest is it not) bulldog breed specific dogs purely based on the new law.

I would hope, beyond hope, that you are guiding owners to alternative options rather than destruction of these dogs, who are now, with no fault attributed to themselves, on 'death row', both in private and charitable homes.

I understand that in few cases, the temperament of any dog will lend itself to being unsuitable to exist in society, and sadly, for protection of both animals and humans, it is necessary to put these dogs to sleep, HOWEVER, I am very sure that you will soon be faced with much deeper moral dilemma, and have numerous requests of euthanasia to be faced with, based purely on the breed of the dog and the incapability or possible unacceptability of the owner to register the dog according to the law to prevent such action, and in such cases I am requesting that you consult the owner accordingly as to other options apart from destruction of an innocent and healthy animal.

I am so sorry to have to be writing this email, but without clarification regarding your likely action when faced with the situation, I myself have a moral dilemma as to the ethics of a practice/organisation which I am currently very happy to financially support.

I do hope you understand my feelings, and I am very hopeful that your reply will give me some comfort within such a shocking situation that the current government has put many of us in.
