Following the passing of my husband pete ,The Market Tavern will close for good ,thankyou for all your support for the past 10 years ,pete worked so hard to make it work but in the end he was beaten by illness the last few years were particularly bad with covid ,recession,etc,but we didn't see cancer coming !
Such an evil illness which has been overlooked by covid .Please for pete and everyone suffering cancer

A dark and heavy cloud hangs over The Tavern today as we learn of the passing of the main man Pete ,, diagnosed only recently with cancer he has lost his short battle with this dreadful disease,, his family and The Tavern family are in mourning and respect privacy at this time , we love you Pete , then , now and forever 😢 🖤🖤
