We said goodbye to Lynne and Mark today following their sixth visit to Dragonfly Cottage. As always, they left us a parting gift for which we are truly appreciative. Hopefully, we will see them back here in October and they've already booked for next year. They really have become part of the family! Thank you both x

Many thanks to all of our patrons who have sent us a Christmas Card this year. Due to ever increasing postage costs, we have decided not to send cards this year, but will donate to charity instead. Thanks to everyone for your patronage this year and Shirley and I look forward to welcoming many of you back in 2026. In the meantime, we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Barrie and Geraldine Blackledge enjoyed their stay so much that they re-booked as soon as they got home and they're back this week. And they arrived with a gift for Shirley. Thank you both and welcome back. I have a feeling that you guys are going to be regular visitors

Another parting gift from another lovely couple. Lynne and Mark are regulars here. Mark loves his fishing, Lynne has only just taken up the sport and outfished Mark with the biggest carp but Mark caught the most. Looking forward to having you both back next June. Thank you for the card and gifts

That has to be a record. Our guests who left us just 3 hours ago have just placed two bookings for next year already. Looking forward to having them both back again
