So lucky to have this wonderful gem just down the road from The Byre at North Cowton.

Kiplin Hall & Gardens, built in the 1620s for George Calvert (— the founder of Maryland, USA no less), is celebrating 400 incredible years with a fresh new look, beautifully restored rooms, and new attractions to explore.

Soak up a bit of history, enjoy a peaceful stroll through stunning gardens, and treat yourself to a slice of homemade cake in the café. A lovely day out, whatever the weather!
