Our lamb flatbread has been our most popular dish throughout April.

Yes we bake the flatbreads, braise the lamb shoulder, make the tzatziki, pickle the red onions and pick the herbs…… FRESH EVERY TIME!

🧁🍰🎂 COFFEE MORNING & BAKE SALE 🎂🍰🧁

Friday 1st May

10am to 12pm

Join us for a coffee & slice of cake in support of a charity very close to our hearts here in The Red Lion, Thornby. is a Northampton based hospice providing specialist palliative care for adults with life-limiting illnesses, focusing on quality of life and symptom management.

☕️ We will be serving up our fantastic local coffee from in Market Harborough. There will be a number of cakes, tray bakes and cup cakes available to purchase and enjoy inside or hopefully in our garden if this sunshine continues. ☀️

🎂 There will be a cake / bake sale for you to take away the best cakes to enjoy at home.

We have had a number of donations / prizes given to us, so will be running a raffle, tickets can be purchased on Friday at the event and throughout the weekend from the pub. The draw will be made Sunday 3rd May in the evening at 5pm.

A busy month for our chefs, with a nice consistent stream of happy customers across the whole month.

Mother's Day was a BIG one for us and the chefs delivered a fantastic menu. 👊🍦

Spring is well and truly in the air with our chefs excited about new produce coming into season as our menus and specials change across the month.

If you are coming to dine with us please remember to book in advance as our weekdays can be as busy as our weekends!!

Our kitchen is open seven days a week.

Carpet Cleaning Day

We have our carpets and chairs being cleaned on Monday 16th March and will therefore be closing our kitchen for the day.

The pub will be open from 3pm for drinks in the evening. (Probably standing room only)

Sorry to all wishing to eat with us on Monday but we can’t guarantee we’d have a dry seat to sit on.
