It's October. The clocks are about to go back, the garden has given up, and you've been saying "we should do something" since August.

So do something.

Hire one of our canal boats for the day, set off at 10am and head for Middlewich, or go the other way towards Anderton and take in the tunnels.

Wrap up warm, bring a flask, then come back to the marina for a hot drink and a slice of cake while you tell everyone about it.

£2 entry per person, all proceeds going to Alder Hey Hospital. Pizza menu available, bar open, and the winning team walks away with a free round of drinks plus a little something towards a canal boat day out.

We're starting something new at Oakwood Marina - every week we'll be snapping polaroids of the dogs who visit us (with their owner’s permission obvs.), and one lucky pup gets crowned Dog of the Week (chosen by us, purely on vibes). Their human gets a free hot drink to say thanks for the good company.
