A weekend for the whole family, kids’ bunk room included.

Roundwood House sleeps up to 10 across five bedrooms, each one named after a Norfolk dialect word. The little ones get Pollywiggle with its bunk beds, and somebody gets Bishy Barnabee and its super-king bed. Downstairs there’s a kitchen-diner big enough for everyone at once, a lounge looking out over the woods and a private garden at the back.

Spend a slow morning there, then head out along the Wensum Valley in the afternoon. Bring the dog too, as long as they’re well behaved.
