🏕️ 60 Day Pop Up Campsite | Rockland St Mary

We’re looking forward to opening our small pop up campsite on our tiny smallholding in the heart of the Norfolk Broads.

Open for just 60 days this year, it’s a great opportunity to stay in this beautiful location.

📍 Opposite Rockland Staithe, making it ideal for canoes, kayaks and paddleboards.

🥾 The Wherryman’s Way passes through the campsite, with circular walking routes to Rockland Broad, Wheatfen Nature Reserve, Surlingham, Bramerton and Coldham Hall. Quiet country lanes also make this a great base for cycling.

🦅 A fantastic area for wildlife and bird watching. Regular sightings include marsh harriers, kingfishers, herons, little egrets, grebes, swans, ducks, geese, owls and woodpeckers. Otters, hares and roe deer are also seen locally.

🏕️ A small, spacious campsite with plenty of room between pitches. Quiet after 10 pm.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Families are welcome, with a children’s play park just across the road.

Our smallholding is also home to:

🛒 Rockland St Mary village shop and Post Office
🥐 Patisserie and self service farm shop in Surlingham
🏊 Pearls Pool, a private indoor swimming pool (pre booking required)

🍽️ Nearby riverside pubs include Coldham Hall, Woods End, Bramerton and The Surlingham Ferry.

🚌 Regular bus service into Norwich.
