Later this month on Friday 29th September there will be many people all over the country hosting Coffee mornings in aid of the Macmillan Cancer Support.
Like so many other families, we have been affected by family members and friends experiencing living with cancer. Some of course were not so fortunate so this is about keeping memories going This event is just a small way of showing people you care and want to help to raise awareness, help fight the disease and improve the lives of many
Please come along to join us for a coffee and cake …or two to help raise some funds.
At Felbrigg Lodge Hotel in Aylmerton, we will have refreshments, guess the weight of the cake, a raffle, a plant stall and the chance to enjoy some mini treatments. So why not bring a friend along for a cuppa, cake and a chat.

The Walled gardens at Felbrigg Hall are enjoyed by many of our guests staying at Lodge hotel

I spy a very large pumpkin in the wonderful Walled Garden at Felbrigg Hall.
What an amazing place this is, so much inspiration for my own garden, be it a lot smaller.
You must go and take a look.

We have just installed our own Solar System to generate our own electricity for the hotel.

Our electric bills are due to rise from £2200 per month to £5500 in August we were left with little choice as the extra costs would have made the hotel unviable. As in the current economic climate we can't pass rising costs on too our customers.

We are lucky to have the space for the installation but feel so sorry for others in the trade who do not!!

The added bonus is we will save 12.5 tons of carbon emissions per year.
