Do you need a reason to visit Norfolk? ❤️

Because for me, it’s this right here 🌅

Our glorious sandy beaches, our big Norfolk skies and sunrises that make getting out of bed so very worth it!

And if you need another reason… Norfolk is incredibly dog welcoming too. 🐾❤️ There’s nothing quite like watching your dog enjoy a beach run, with miles of sand to explore and all that fresh sea air.

One of the perks of being up early this morning was catching this beauty. And with the mornings getting later, you won’t even need to set a ridiculously early alarm to enjoy one for yourself! 😉

So, who fancies a little Norfolk escape? The beaches are waiting, the skies are showing off and your dogs are more than welcome to join you. ❤️

8 years ago today, we did a slightly mad thing… 🏡❤️

We sold up our life in London and decided to move to Norfolk and all live together. What could possibly go wrong?! 🤣

And just like that, 8 years ago today, we bought our house… and the beginnings of Oak Tree Cottages started to take shape.

Looking back at everything we've achieved in those 8 years, it honestly amazes us. There have been plenty of highs, a few challenges, a LOT of hard work, and more than a few moments of wondering what on earth we'd let ourselves in for! 😂

But here we are, 8 years on, with award-winning cottages, thousands of wonderful guests and so many memories made along the way. ❤️

We're incredibly proud of what we've built, but more than anything, we're grateful. Every booking, every review, every guest who comes back year after year has helped make Oak Tree Cottages what it is today.

Because without you, there simply wouldn't be an us. 🥰

So here's to the leap of faith that started it all, the life we've built in Norfolk, and all the memories still to come.

Would we do it all again? Ask us after a changeover day! 🤣🧹

🌈 Somewhere over the rainbow… 🌈

We had a little bit of magic over Oak Tree Cottages today. ❤️

There’s something about seeing a rainbow stretching right over the cottages that makes you stop for a minute and appreciate just how lucky we are to call this little corner of North Norfolk home. 🥰

Country views, the coast just a few miles away, four cosy cottages… and occasionally, a rainbow thrown in for good measure. 🌈🐾

Not a bad place to escape to, is it? ❤️

We really try to get that balance between perfect for humans and perfect for the dogs. Before we found Norfolk, we really struggled to find places that truly welcomed dogs in the way we welcome them in our homes, so that's what we tried to create here, a home from home experience.

Anyway, back to what the post was actually about... we've only gone and sneakily added discounts to our remaining breaks between now and the end of February 🤯. Up to 10% off all remaining breaks.
