oups to relax, unwind and get back to nature. Rustle up a delicious feast on our BBQ firepits or in our incredible outdoor kitchen. Enjoy a drink or two on our elevated patio as the sun sets over the valley below. We offer guests luxuriously furnished 5m bell tents and group bookings of 8 adults or more get free and exclusive use of our stunning handmade Mongolian yurt featuring a woodburning stove, comfortable lounge, and spacious dining area for up to 14 guests. Here at Millview we pride ourselves on flexibility to suit the needs of our guests. If you are thinking bigger than hiring a single tent, why not rent a minimum of four tents (8 adults) and get free and exclusive use of our Cottage Garden area, Mongolian Yurt and outdoor kitchen. These areas are available for smaller groups, depending on availability and via separate rental. All our bell tents are 5 meters in size and furnished to a beautiful standard to include real beds and beautiful linen. Tents can be offered as double, twin or quad occupancy based on two adults and two children sharing. Each tent has its own BBQ firepit and outdoor furniture when rented individually. Thinking even bigger? Why not hire our adjoining event field in conjunction with the glamping site. It’s perfect for weddings, parties or even a boutique festival. Well it’s certainly been a busy weekend up at Millview!

We had a crazy few days setting up for Freya and Luke’s wedding on Saturday, a VERY quick Colin the Caterpillar cake for my birthday on Sunday morning before welcoming our third child into the world on Sunday afternoon. 🎂

I now have a few free weekends before our next booking to spend some quality time with baby William ❤️👌👍

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. I have had an absolute MARE with the weather, especially with a Thursday night storm three weeks ago that left our yurt in a very poorly state 🥵

Our yurt is the centre piece and beating heart of Millview, it was horrible to see her looking so sad 😢

However! Some very kind folk in Mongolia stepped up to the plateau, hand made and “rode West” a replacement cover….in a timescale that even Genghis Khan would have been proud of 😜

We are now back on track for an epic summer at Millview. 👍

Millviews wonderful and very old oak tree has had to be drastically reduced in size. Sadly its trunk had become too weak to support its size. It had become a bit of a health hazard.

Hopefully what remains will survive and bloom this spring 👍
