🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE – OPEN FIRES/ DISPOSABLE BBQs 🚨

As of today, the Government has introduced a temporary ban on the supply of disposable BBQs due to the significant fire risk caused by the current heatwave and drought conditions.

🔥 Therefore, disposable BBQs, open fires and fire pits are strictly prohibited at Elton Barn Fishery.

With the ground and surrounding fields extremely dry, the risk of grass and wildfires is simply too high.

We ask that all guests and anglers please respect this and do not bring disposable BBQs, use open fires or fire pits anywhere on site.

A huge congratulations to Tommy, aged just 9, who landed this incredible new personal best on his visit this weekend! 👏🐟

What a fantastic fish!! Judging by the smile on his face, it’s safe to say the hard work paid off! 💪

Tommy has one special request… he’d love this beautiful carp to be officially known as “Tommy B” from now on. We think that’s a brilliant name! 😊
