We’ve been at it now for over 30 years, starting small in the northern part of the city centre and slowly expanding until we managed to open our current digs Igloo Hybrid (2015 with the Igloo Shed addition in 2019). This is a shout out to all our regulars and year on year repeat visitors. We love that you love what we do, and to see your faces come back in through our doors again and again - It really means the world to us.
Thank you!! We will keep striving to be the best, friendliest and a well run budget accommodation choice in this city - and you guys really do make our day - time and time again ❤️

Ey up Moshers. We've got lots of availability (now discounted) still for this year ! If you don't fancy sleeping in a tent you can make Igloo your base and come back to comfortable beds, warm showers and PROPER TOILETS 🚽 Use our welcoming kitchen to prepare your packed lunches and meet fellow festival go-ers. We are located just tound the corner from the skyline bus stop so it couldn't be easier yo get yo and from the festival. Drop us a line if you have any queries, we are super happy to help! Igloo Hostel Nottingham is looking for a live-in duty hospitality assistant couple (or maybe 2 best friends) for a minimum 6 month full-time contract starting end of May until end of November.
Our lovely duty couple who have been with us for a long time are off on a big adventure through Canada, and we need to find a new awesome energetic, hardworking and friendly replacement duo to join our little team.
Positions can potentially be renewed for the right fit. Accommodation comes free as part of the package in a private room. We pay over minimum wage and each position is 35-40 hours per week (overtime often available). Please do not enquire if there is only one of you - we need a team of 2.
You must have a British passport or the right to work in the U.K. and experience within the tourism/accommodation hospitality field - we do not sponsor work visas.
