umber of traditional pubs and restaurants close by and also several village shops and a post office.Access is very good. Newstead Abbey is close by and the site would be an excellent base for day trips to Chatsworth, Haddon Hall or into the Peak district. The estate has strong links with D.H.Lawrence and Moorgreen Reservoir features in several of his novels.Guests will be allowed exclusive access to the south bank of Moorgreen Reservoir situated about 50 metres from the site. This is a beautiful 40 acres water with a private foot path that largely follows the waters edge, the ideal place for an evening stroll and an excellent place for bird watching. The estate has been running a survey since 2009 and at present 104 different species have been identified. Prices
