Ryukyu Association of Karate and Gung-Fu Martial Arts The Ryukyu Association of Karate and Gung-Fu is an organisation open to groups and clubs of all styles of traditional martial arts.

The RAKGF now has many UK and iinternational groups, and we're still growing! The purpose of the RAKGF is to teach and enjoy traditional martial arts in a traditional way, not as a sport. Membership is annual and provides the benefit of insurance, gradings and various national and international training events with numerous high graded instructors from a wide selection of styles. Out of this has g

rown a commumity of like minded martial artists who thrive in an atmosphere of mutual respect, friendship and a desire to maintain the true spirit of the traditional martial arts.

As we wrap up the weekend I’d like to say a massive thanks once again to all that supported the Annual Benfell Meijin seminar, especially those who travelled some good distances to be there. I do hope you enjoyed the seminar and had a safe journey home.

We will aim to arrange the next year Seminar the same weekend 10th July so fix that one in your diary as we’d love to see you all again.

Updates will be posted as and when we have more details.

Hi all, down to the last few days now before the annual Benfell Meijin seminar.
We will start to welcome some of the instructor / students from Thursday onwards and then will look forward to hopefully see you all on Saturday, it’s gonna be a hot one so please bring drinks, we will have bottles of water but in this heat you can never have too many.
No that a certain football team has somehow managed to get through to the next round we will make sure we finish promptly for those wanting to get home in time to watch the game.

Getting close now, this time next week we will have some of the instructors / students arriving ready for the Annual Benfell Meijin one day seminar. We’re hoping for a great turn out so please support the event if you can as we do have some great instructors lined up for you.
