ing for 2 cars. Accommodation is two double beds with a junior bed/cot availble. A wet room downstairs, and a Jack and Jill shower room upstairs. Cosy lounge with a log burner, and a Rayburn range cooker that provides hot water and underfloor heating. Recently graded as 4* Gold by Visit England, you can be assured of high standards, in every aspect of self-catering requirements. Using top quality linens, you are assured a restful nights sleep in the King size Bed. It has a well equipped kitchen and is furnished comfortably. Keeping the original beams and quarry tiles, this looks the typical 2 up, 2 down cottage that it is. Underneath the floor though is delightful underfloor heating to keep those toes nice and cosy. Not forgetting the 4 legged guests, they love the warm tiles. We are a very, very dog friendly area. A ‘pod’ now sits in the garden and this sleeps an extra 2 guests. It can be either a twin room or a large double. The pod has a toilet and basin, heating, TV and WIFI. The pod can only be booked with the cottage booking.

This is the pretty Derbyshire village of Bradbourne, just a shade out of the Peak District National Park, but what's a few miles between friends when it looks as beautiful as this?! It also has the distinction of being one of only fifteen 'Doubly Thankful' villages in England, meaning that all the men from the village returned safely home after both world wars. The Peak District village of Butterton in Staffordshire has the same happy accolade. ~ Suzanne
