Burghley House reopens this coming weekend - a great day out looking around the house, garden of Surprises & a wonderful adventure playground for the little ones.

This weekend, we are delighted to reopen the doors to Burghley House for the 2026 season.

Step inside our great Elizabethan House and immediately feel the weight of its 500 year history — explore the magnificent State Rooms, including the evocative Tudor Kitchen and a walk through Verrio’s Heaven & Hell, and discover the extraordinary treasures collected from all over the world that lie within them.

Burghley House — open daily (excluding Fridays) from Saturday 14 March. Book tickets or purchase an Annual Pass online.
