The Tithe Barn B&B accomodation in Cottesmore, Rutland The Tithe Barn is a charming home which dates back to the 15th Century, in the village of Cottesmore close to Rutland Water.

Our Rutland B&B is situated in a handsome converted Tithe Barn, which dates back to the 15th Century. Set in some of England’s least discovered yet most staggeringly beautiful countryside in the county of Rutland, we offer very comfortable bed & breakfast accommodation in a charming and friendly atmosphere. The house is set in an attractive village location, away from any busy roads, and offers a

welcome retreat for all our guests. It retains many of it’s original features and unique charm, and we offer professional and friendly accommodation. Stamford Shakespeare Company presents...

Tolethorpe’s 2021 season opens on June 8th with a triple bill featuring the varied delights of Shakespeare , Oscar wilde and Charlotte Jones.

The Stamford Shakespeare Company regularly packs out the wondrous Rutland Open Air Theatre with its productions - so what could be better than enjoying a leisurely evening of picnicking or dining and perusing the glorious view before wallowing in a literary feast?

This year’s visitors will be indulged, with Shakespears “Loves Labours lost ” , Charlotte Jones" Humble Boy ”and sharing the traditional triple bill with Oscar Wilde's Romantic Farce " The importance of being earnest"

Also this year , the Tolethorpe Youth Drama are bringing to life Denise Kellys DNA. A powerful story of a group of teenagers that do something bad, really bad, then panic and cover the whole thing up.But when they find that the cover-up unites them and brings harmony to their otherwise fractious lives, where’s the incentive to put things right?

This proves DNA to be a show that is poignant and, sometimes, hilarious with a very dark heart!

With such a mix or plays to enjoy , There’s no better place to enjoy them than at the open air theatre when the sun’s shining, but if it rains don’t fret, all the theatre is under cover.
